How to Help
"You can't go to to an RDA centre without volunteers, parents, riders, telling you amazing stories about those transformations that have happened in every centre" ~ Ed Bracher
Would you like to become a volunteer?
As a national charity, we assist approximately 30,000 participates every year. We are always in need of volunteers who can spare us a few hours a week to help in our sessions so our lessons can run. Without volunteers the charity would be non-existent.
You do not need any previous experience with horses or working with people living with a disability, as all training, advice and support is given.
Volunteers are needed to lead the horses and walk alongside the children helping them get the most out of the experience. If you can spare your local group a few hours a week, the helping hand will be gratefully received.
Volunteers are also needed in each group to help with fundraising events and to create awareness of their good work. More information on volunteering can be found here.
